So I’m sort of behind on my posts! The last few days have been pretty get up and go. On Monday I woke up a little early to pack up all my stuff at the hostel i was staying at in San Francisco. I got ready had breakfast and set off on my next adventure. I made my way 10 blocks to the greyhound station. I made it to the Greyhound station with time to spare. I checked my own bag at the self kiosk, I’m officially a pro greyhound rider. This was the first station where they had a security guard checking everyone’s bags. One lady ahead of me got two bottles of liquor taken away. I was curious if he would search my big backpack or not. If he decided he was going to check my bag I was going to make sure that he knew that he was going to be packing the intercut puzzle back together. He completely passed on my big backpack and since he couldn’t figure out how to open my smaller pack he passed up on that bag too. Lets just say there were a few people who had their underwear pulled out for all to see that weren’t to happy about that. I sat down and heard the news about the shooting in the navy yard. I hopped on the bus to Los Angeles and took the right and a half hour bus ride to Los Angeles. When i got off the bus at the greyhound station the hostel that I had made reservations was another hour and forty minutes on the public bus. After spending the majority of my day on the bus I got to the hostel. I checked in and the man working showed me around. I got settled and went to laundry. I sat and talked with four ladies from Ireland while my laundry was going. I went back to my room and watched the movie Hostel 3.. Which hardly had anything to do with a hostel. I met a couple from Istanbul, Turkey who came in late. It was fun talking to them about my experiences in Turkey and sharing a few of the Turkish words I knew. I laid my head down for a good nights rest before exploring Los Angeles the next day.
